I think I liked Mary Poppins as a child, but I didn't by any means love it... Thinking about it I'm realizing how bizarre it really is and just how much I missed as a child. I don't have a diverse enough imagination for this nonsense...
I'm not sure why it's a Christmas movie according to ABC Family, but there is a reference to the Boston Tea Party (today's the anniversary). I have to give a shout out some of the girls in the ward who are adorable and brilliant and held a Boston Tea Party. They made goodies and had hot chocolate, herbal tea, and wassail all in honor of beligerance. Amazing! I came home just in time to catch this clip, which may be appropriate in the current economic situation...
