First Snow of the Season

LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW!

Oh the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

It doesn't show signs of Pausing,
And I've bought some corn for popping,
The lights are turned way down low,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

When we finally kiss goodnight,
How I'll hate going out in the storm!
But if you'll really hold me tight,
All the way home I'll be warm.

The fire is slowly dying,
And, my dear, we're still good-bying,
But as long as you love me so,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

Legitimately, it's not a lot, but it's supposed to snow more today and this week. I'm just surprised it hadn't snowed yet this season until December 17! Not only is Fall beautiful around here, but it really does last so long! The Fall leaves don't stick around until December, unfortunately, but it has been fairly temperate. I have to say that I'm glad that I can enjoy the snow a bit and to drink a cup of hot chocolate this morning and get some things done. I hope you all are enjoying the winter weather in all of its forms in your neck of the woods!
