So the Cambridge Singles Wards have some traditions that are more traditional than just Mormon singles... I think it started with some resourceful lovers of Jane Austin who decided to implement a a more formal dance concept. There is apparently a yearly Pride and Prejudice dance and semi-annual Cotillion of sorts that occurs... I don't know that I would have been the one to organize this initially, but I gladly heckled the friends and joined in on the fun...
Here are some pictures of the dancing that happened... I mostly stepped on toes and tried not to cause any permanent damage, but it was really fun.
Here's a video - it appears more hoe down like than it actually was. The other dances were less folky and hay bails and more English and formal...
