Signs That I Have Been Inundated...

1. Pushing 1300 unread e-mails in my gmail inbox
2. 56 unread messages in my facebook inbox
3. A full voicemail box (still learning not to hate that feature)
4. Several thousand unread blogs in google reader
5. An entire series of social engagement IOUs to spend time with friends in the area and otherwise...
6. A long list of things to write down in my journal and public blog for your reading pleasure...
   

I need a day to get out from underneath the heaping piles of un-returned or only semi-returned messages. Really - I do get back to people on the urgent and work related things, but the nonessential or non-urgent things get put off until I have time to deal with them. Although checking voicemails and perusing through some of the e-mails today did bring about some REALLY hilarious stories... ask me sometime if you want some good entertainment.

Also, I'm so excited to have a more normal or at least more reasonable campaign schedule again. Still long hours, but not as constant as it has been over the past couple of months. It just feels refreshing to get a full night's rest again and to have time to quickly make lunch. It's the little things that count...
