So, the quality of Harvard football lived up to my expectations - I wasn't expecting much. The funny thing is the Harvard QB really wasn't that great and threw some ugly passes (some of which were easily intercepted). Who really throws a ball (not a spiral mind you) into traffic to a receiver who isn't running any kind of actual route with his back to you the entire time? hmm... Lehigh's QB actually was doing well. They were running the ball pretty well and their passes were right on. It came down to the Lehigh QB throwing an interception with 40 seconds to go otherwise Lehigh would have won. We obviously missed the first three quarters where Harvard was able to get up by a couple touchdowns, but Lehigh should have won based on the 4th quarter.
We were sitting right in front of the cheerleaders and next to the band. That provided some good entertainment. There were several people intermixed in the band - not playing instruments just dancing... dancing like awkward white kids (perhaps engineering majors?). The cheerleaders cracked me up too... there were male cheerleaders wearing jeans, some wearing sunglasses... I really don't know what else to say - other than that it's definitely the Ivy League.
