Pakistani Independence Day

One of the great things about my job is I do get an opportunity to attend cultural events and festivals regularly. One afternoon I got to attend the Pakistani Independence Day festival in Woodbridge. They flew in a Pakistani pop star from Pakistan and little kids were waving Pakistani flags. The tenor of the event was Independence and very pro-American, but certainly an eye opener to a culture I don't interact with everyday.
